5th Quarter Agency is dedicated to helping student athletes all over the world get the exposure they deserve. 5th Quarter Agency offers consulting, recruiting, mentorship, and sports clinics. During the process, we go with clients every step of the way to provide a pleasant, accessible, and relatable experience. We also teach athletes how to transfer sports skills into life skills in order to be the complete student athlete. Purpose Over Prison is our motto because not all wins show on the scoreboard.
As a native born and raised in a rough environment in Detroit, Coach Lynch is the true meaning of purpose over prison. He took to the streets at an early age to find his identity. Risky behavior and bad decisions literally almost cost Coach Lynch his life and an early exit from all Detroit Public Schools. Sports saved his life and gave him purpose. Now, Coach Lynch uses his life, coaching, sports, academic and referee experiences to help youth and other student athletes discover their purpose and make positive life choices.
Coach Lynch received a full scholarship to Indiana University to play as a running back (2002-2004). Due to an injury, he transferred to Alabama State where he earned a second full scholarship and his Bachelor of Arts in Communication/Radio Television (Cum Laude, 2006). He was a part of ASU's 2004 SWAC Championship Team (2nd team in school history to win the championship). In 2006, Coach Lynch was nominated as an academic All American. He went on to coach at Urbana & Tiffin Universities (Ohio), and served as Equipment Assistant for the Atlanta Falcons. Marlin currently is a college replay official, sports referee (basketball, football, and volleyball). Sports has played an integral part in every phase of Marlin’s life. He and his wife have two daughters and he also serves as the Apostle & Pastor of Kingdom Huddle Ministry.
